I will be running 26.2 miles on Sunday 22nd April 2012 in the Virgin London Marathon, aiming to raise another £1000 or more with the help of my family, friends and the wonderful people I meet while out collecting, telling me their heartwarming stories of missing loved ones who were taken by this terrible disease or fighting the cancer right now.
Breakthrough Breast Cancer is dedicated to saving lives by finding the causes of breast cancer, improving detection, diagnosis, treatment and services.
I hope the money I raise will one day help the next generation live without the fear of breast cancer.

Why, when and how I fundraise for Breakthrough Breast Cancer
- In loving memory of my sister Shireen who will always be in our hearts. A loving daughter, sister, aunty, friend, mother and wife. Missing her smile, guidance and love.
- 2009 I ran my my first 26 miles 385 yard marathon in memory of Shireen who lost her battle with breast cancer in April 2008. 2010 and 2011 I completed the Brighton Marathons. 2012 I will run the Virgin London Marathon.
